Davide Intini

Born in Milan in 1993, Davide Intini developed an early interest in music through piano studies at the Scuola Musicale di Milano. He fell in love with jazz and the saxophone during a summer workshop in Boston at the age of 16, and he began to study saxophone alongside his piano studies, eventually making it his primary instrument.

He studied in Barcelona, first at L'Aula de Musica Moderna y Jazz with maestro Hugo Astudillo and then at the Conservatori de Liceu with renowned Spanish jazz musicians such as Victor de Diego and Llibert Fortuny. In New York, during a semester, he studied at the New School of Music, where he had the opportunity to be mentored by saxophonist Dave Glasser and receive private lessons from accomplished musicians like Joel Frahm, Grant Stewart, and Jean Michel Pilc. He completed his studies and obtained a diploma from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan under the guidance of maestro Tino Tracanna. He has participated in numerous jazz seminars, including Tuscia In Jazz and Umbria Jazz, to name a few. Among his experiences, he served as the Music Director aboard Celebrity Cruises' ships. Currently, he is active as a jazz saxophonist, composer and educator in the revitalized music scene in Milan.
