"Ego Taming," available for download and streaming on all major digital platforms from July 15th, marks the debut album of saxophonist Davide Intini. "Ego Taming is the presentation of my musical journey," explains Davide himself, "a voyage that began when I fell in love with the sound of the saxophone as a young person and led me to develop as an artist and as a person through unique experiences. The desire, I would say the necessity, for music has accompanied me from Italy to Spain and all the way to New York, propelling me from an avid student to a self-aware professional and making the definitive choice to dedicate my life to jazz music.”
The debut album features original compositions by Davide Intini, with the exception of "In Your Own Sweet Way," a tribute to Dave Brubeck, performed together with Diego Albini on piano, Enrico Palmieri on double bass, and Alfonso Donadio on drums.
This debut release showcases a diverse range of experiences, offering the listener an album composed of original songs that coexist organically while each possessing their own colors and distinct personality.
